Integration Campaign

Oliviero Toscani’s image tells us a story of integration: this photograph shows a group of medical school students.

Among them a Nigerian, an Indian, a Chadian, an Anglo-Sri Lankan and an Italo-Nigerian – who will one day make important contributions to Italy’s national health system.

These pictures are part of a wider project on integration that United Colors of Benetton launched last fall with two photos of pupils at a multi-ethnic school in Milan, which is rounded off with the faces of a group of professionals.
