The new faces of an Italy that works

The group image of professionals, photographed Oliviero Toscani, tells us a story of integration.

There is a police officer from Enna, a town councillor in the Scandicci Education Department, a priest from the province of Pavia, an imam from Rome, a doctor and a lawyer from Milan.

They are originally from Cameroon, Senegal, Indonesia, Togo and the Democratic Republic of Congo, respectively. They are all working to build a better Italy.

These pictures are part of a wider project on integration that United Colors of Benetton launched last fall with two photos of pupils at a multi-ethnic school in Milan, which is rounded off with the faces medical university students.
